Women in the World Foundation : ウィキペディア英語版
Women in the World Foundation
The Women in the World Foundation is an international advocacy and training group for women and girls.
The Foundation was formed as a permanent group following Newsweek & The Daily Beast's first annual "Women in the World Summit", launched by the publications' editor-in-chief Tina Brown in March 2010. The summit centers on storytelling and live journalism from CEOs, world leaders and activists, presenting solutions to women's issues. The 2013 summit was held at Lincoln Center in New York City, and was attended by over 2,500 women from several countries, with keynote speeches from Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Eva Longoria, Susan Rice, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks and a video presentation from Malala Yousafzai.
